About your Coach

I founded Skills for Intentional Living, a Life Coaching practice, out of an inspiration to provide an alternative to counseling and therapy. Many individuals approached me throughout the years to intercede in the area of relationship or individual challenges they were experiencing. The conversations that took place brought participants to heightened awareness and clarity where there was difficulty beforehand. This access served as a conduit for constructive changes in people’s lives. It was apparent they did not require counseling or therapy, instead a personal forum of sorts, where they could explore their intentions and discover what the interferences were in arriving at desired outcomes. The conversations were distinct from ones we have with ourselves and perhaps even a close friend; they offered an opportunity for self reflection like no other.

My aim is to work with individuals and families to share the skills that have afforded me personal growth when I most needed it. My most authentic state when coaching is one of humility, nonjudgmental awareness and deep respect for clients who have the courage to explore this method of the unfolding process.

Professional Affiliations:

  • Certification and training through the International Society of Neuro-Semantics offered me the most cutting edge technology in thinking and doing available today. I owe my trainers Michael Hall, Ph.D.; Michelle Duval, Master Coach; and Bobby Bodenhamer, DMin; much gratitude for mentoring me through the process of certification. I am certified in Meta Coaching and fully qualified as a NLP Master Practitioner.

  •  As a participating coach in a program agreed between the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the
United Nations Children’s fund (UNICEF), I provided coaching services to UNICEF staff under the New and Emerging Talent Initiative (NETI programme).

UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, works in 158 countries globally. Guided by the Convention of the Rights of the Child, UNICEF strives to establish children’s rights as enduring ethical principles and international standards of behaviour towards children.

  • As a participating coach in a program agreed between the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), I provided coaching services to WFP staff.  WFP is the world's largest humanitarian agency: on average, distributing food to 90 million people each year, including 58 million hungry children in 80 of the world's poorest countries.

  • Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. Founded in 1995, the ICF is the leading global organization for coaches, approaching 13,000 members in 80 countries, dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches.
